Olyveco is built on the premise that trust has to be earned. Here is how we intend to earn it, and where we currently stand.

What the Verified Mark Means

The Olyveco Trusted mark is granted only after a professional passes our verification checks. It is tied to that record, never to the tier they hold or the amount they pay. A free listing is not verified, and it is labelled that way on the profile.

No professional is verified yet. The founding cohort is being selected in Okotoks now, and one of the required checks, the Olyveco Standards Agreement, is still being written. The mark will appear on a profile only once the checks behind it are complete. See our full Verification Standards.

No Pay-to-Rank

A professional cannot buy a badge. The Verified mark is granted on the verification record alone, so paying for a higher tier does not produce one. Principal standing is earned through credentials and active participation in the community, not through a larger invoice.

Honest Matching

On Olyvo, our private matching platform, homeowners are matched on compatibility rather than on who paid the most. Match scores are calculated from stated preferences and property data. We do not manipulate results for commercial reasons.

Privacy by Design

Homeowners on Olyvo control their own visibility. Seller listings are private by default, and a buyer stays anonymous until both sides consent to an introduction. A professional receives a homeowner’s contact details only after that homeowner chooses to share them.

Ongoing Standards

Verification will not be a one-time event. Principal standing will be re-checked annually, ratings that fall below the threshold will pause a badge, and we will act on credible complaints. A licence can lapse or be suspended between checks, so a mark is only ever as current as the review behind it. We would rather say that plainly than imply a badge is a permanent guarantee.
