Trades that require licensing will be checked against the relevant regulatory body as the standard rolls out. Trades that don’t get assessed on reputation, online presence, and community standing. Either way, a badge on your profile will tell homeowners you meet the standard we are building. Not just a credit card swipe.
Get notified.
When a homeowner in your area needs your trade, you get a notification email. Enough detail to know whether it is worth pursuing. Not enough to waste your time on a bad fit.
Accept to connect.
If it looks like a good job, accept the introduction — it is included in your membership. The homeowner’s details are shared, the chat opens, and the conversation starts. You choose every connection.

If your trade requires a licence
The standard we are building checks your licence status with the relevant regulatory body for your province or state. We check your review history across Google and other relevant platforms. We look at your BBB record if applicable and any publicly available conduct or complaint history.
If your trade does not require a licence
We look at your reputation. Google reviews, online presence, community standing, and how you present your business publicly. A strong reputation without a licence can absolutely pass. A weak or non-existent online presence makes it harder.
Either way
You agree to Olyveco’s conduct standards before your profile is approved. No unsolicited contact with homeowners. No pressure tactics. Honest communication about fees and timelines. Those are not optional.
