Community Guidelines

Olyveco is a knowledge-first community built on trust. These guidelines exist to keep it that way. By participating, you agree to uphold them.

Be Genuinely Helpful

Share knowledge because it helps people, not to promote yourself. The best contributions come from real experience. If you have something useful to say, say it plainly.

Be Honest

Represent your credentials, experience, and opinions accurately. Do not post misleading information about yourself, your business, or the market. If you are uncertain, say so.

Respect Privacy

Do not share other members’ personal information without their consent. Do not screenshot or republish private conversations. What happens in the community stays in the community unless the author explicitly says otherwise.

No Unsolicited Promotion

Do not use community spaces to cold-pitch your services. You may mention your work when it is directly relevant to a conversation and adds value. Dedicated spaces exist for professionals to share their profile — use those instead.

No Harassment or Discrimination

Treat every member with respect regardless of background, experience level, or point of view. Personal attacks, hate speech, and discriminatory language will result in immediate removal.

Keep It Constructive

Disagreement is healthy. Criticism is fine when it is specific and respectful. Venting, pile-ons, and bad-faith arguments are not. If a conversation has run its course, let it go.

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community depending on severity. We make these decisions carefully and will communicate the reason when we act.

If you see something that violates these guidelines, please report it to hello@olyveco.com. We review every report.
