After years on the front lines of the real estate market, our founders Tina Parker and Cheralee Placsko saw a troubling and widening gap: a crisis of trust between homeowners and the industry they had to rely on.

Olyveco was founded by two Calgary-based professionals with over 40 combined years of experience serving homeowners through some of the most significant transitions of their lives.
Tina Parker
Tina believes real estate should be done smarter, not harder. As a licensed real estate professional and the author of Do Your Own Home Staging, she brings 20 years of experience in real estate, home staging, and strategic thinking to the development of Olyveco.
Although Tina maintains her real estate licence, her focus is no longer on trading real estate. She is dedicating her time and expertise to building Olyveco and creating a smarter, more supportive approach to the homeownership journey.
Her work is rooted in reducing decision fatigue and helping people make better-informed decisions about their homes. By bridging real estate knowledge, design strategy, technology, and practical resources, Tina is building a platform designed to give homeowners greater clarity, confidence, and control during one of life’s most significant transitions.

Cheralee Placsko
Cheralee has spent her career doing one thing exceptionally well: wrapping families in resources. With more than two decades of experience supporting families through significant life transitions, she understands that behind every real estate decision is a family with unique needs, and that those needs deserve to be fully seen, heard, and supported.
As a licensed Alberta real estate professional, Cheralee brings valuable industry knowledge and firsthand understanding of the real estate journey to Olyveco. However, her focus is no longer on trading real estate. She is dedicating her time and expertise to developing Olyveco and helping build a better, more informed experience for homeowners.
Within the Olyveco community, Cheralee is the steady hand helping ensure that resources are thoughtful, practical, and connected to the realities families face when making decisions about their homes.
